The Standard Board For England have cleared Erewash councillors Howard Griffiths, Frank Phillips, Pam Phillips and Alex Phillips for calling the council leader Chris Corbett a ‘chicken’.
Their report has, however, criticised Labour members for ‘unprofessional’ behaviour which included impressions of farmyard animals in the council chamber.
